Well this is a move I didn't see coming. Last week both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler threw in the towel for their American Idol jobs and left the world guessing who would take their place.
In a move that well, I never thought would happen they announced last night that yes Mariah Carey has landed the job. For a cool $18 million for one year.
That is insane on so many levels. First $18 million? Really? Second, who still listens to her? This show has officially jumped the shark. I give it two more years on air before it fades into obscurity.
