Quotes Quotes Quotes!!

I haven't done a quotes post in a while.
Here are some good ones from some books, movies and tv shows:

"You spend your whole life stuck in a labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining the future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present." -Looking For Alaska, John Green

"I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I am all out of bubble gum." Nada - They Live

"No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes." ― Cormac McCarthy, The Road

"Memories are bullets. Some whiz by and only spook you. Others tear you open and leave you in pieces. Someday the right one will catch you between the eyes and you'll never see it coming. There'll just be a flash of a face or a smell or her touch. Then bang, you're gone." Richard Kadrey

"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." -Mewtwo

"The portal to hell is opened with the incantation of good intentions."

"It's very simple: We can only see clearly with our hearts. What's essential is invisible to the eyes."

Pain is a part of life. Sometimes it's a big part, and sometimes it isn't, but either way, it's a part of the big puzzle, the deep music, the great game. Pain does two things: It teaches you, tells you that you're alive. Then it passes away and leaves you changed. It leaves you wiser, sometimes. Sometimes it leaves you stronger. Either way, pain leaves its mark, and everything important that will ever happen to you in life is going to involve it in one degree or another.” -Harry Dresden
