Happy 40th Anniversary to one of my favorite albums of all time. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". There is not much I can say about this album that hasn't already been said. More than 50 million copies sold. Fifteen straight years on Billboard's album chart. Consistently ranked in the Top 10 of many best-albums-ever-made polls. But more than that in a way this 1973 epic album changed the way people made and listened to albums. Forty years after its release, many think there is no better complete album available. It also was the album that set Pink Floyd up for the rest of their career. It made headphone listening a required luxury. And many regard it blowing minds much like the audio equivalent to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Also on another note if I had to pick one last song on this earth to listen to this would be in the top 3.
