Well Saturday Night Live ended their season on a high note this weekend. Not only did Mick Jagger kill it both as host and as musical guest but the final sketch goodbye tribute they did to Kristen Wiig was just magical.
There is nobody more deserving in my mind for this type of tribute then Kristen. There may have been better cast members in SNL history but nobody had to deal with what Kristen had to. She basically has carried the show on her back for literally the last 3-4 years. She is the name to the show, the reason why everyone was tuning in and week after week she failed to disappoint. She was a class act and someone that I will certainly miss having on my tv screen weekly. Upside is that this now frees her up to do more movies like Bridesmaids and will get her hopefully to the type of stardum that she deserves.
Anyone who doesn't choke up at this tribute I'm pretty sure you don't have a soul.
