Love them or hate them Coldplay is a polarizing band. You will meet people who either would die to go see 50 shows of theirs or others who wouldn't care if they existed at all. There really is no in between. But what they did on Saturday night to tribute the fallen Beastie Boy MCA was a tribute that nobody expected but that everyone across the music world can respect. It was a somber version of the famous "Fight for your Right to Party" and it was done in fantastic style.
Bravo to the entire band for pulling this off, I think its a great way to tribute MCA and I have a feeling he would have loved it.
