Its impossible to have an "acoustic day" without including this next song. Mr. Damien Rice is a genius, his voice floats across melodies unlike anyone. Well scratch that, hes very much like Leonard Cohen that breathy voice, and the way you can just feel his emotion in every word.
This song called "The Blower's Daughter" was used for the movie Closer and it depicts a tragically beautiful love story. This man just can't let go of his love. I see it as him watching her through other relationships, the ups and downs, it tears him apart. He just can't let go. Until like he says "he finds someone new".
