Thats right, you heard the above title. A violin is for sale for an asking price of $18 million dollars. If sold, it will make it the most expensive piece of musical equipment in history. Crazy right?
This violin known as "del Gesu" is named after its famous maker Giuseppe Guarneri, known for making very robust violins with amazing sound.
Now I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know what I'm talking about when it comes to violins, but this headline just about knocked me out of my chair. $18 million, one musical instrument. Thats insanity.
