I love me some Pretty Lights!!!
Also known as Derek Vincent Smith, Pretty Lights is a electronic musical artist (and probably my favorite out of the entire genre), this is because he effortlessly blends elements of hip-hop with heavy soul. His music is a perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle that is the world, which is why the video for this next song "We Must Go On" is so well done. It throws out you crazy, busy elements of global cities but we are simultaneously appeased by relaxed beats and tones that unify the track. Its a perfect pairing.
The video is a collaboration between smith and his creative partner and girl friend, Krystle Blackburn. The beautiful footage were taken from actual Pretty Light tours, festivals and concerts all over the world. Its concert footage at its best.
